‘Tis the season to be readin’. Singularity Press’ book sale made its triumphant return this Spring on Tuesday, March 11th to Thursday, March 13th, setting up shop in the lobby of 230 Victoria Street and selling our wares for $1 a book. Let’s take a look back on how things went.

First off—we had a lot of books, and we mean a lot of books. Multiple carts and tables full, in fact, with enough to fill a whole closet afterwards. With sections for fiction, non-fiction, classics, graphics novels, guides, children’s literature, and even an odd sci-fi magazine or philosophy volume, there was a lot to choose from. By the end of our 3-day run, we—with your help, of course—made a sizable dent into that wondrous second-hand collection.

In addition to books, some Singularity swag was on offer, specifically some free pens and stickers, as well as candy, and who doesn’t love candy? Thank you to all who swung by and picked up a book, and even those just stopped to take a look. Keep an eye out for us in the following semesters, because like a bad penny, we’ll keep turning up. And really, who can have too many books?
